Jackson Police investigate robbery at Wendy's restaurant
David May, 42, has been captured, according to the Mississippi Department of Corrections
Jackson police are investigating a drive-by shooting Saturday. The shooting happened around 6 p.m. in the 1000 block of McLean Street off of Lynch Street.
Jackson police crime scene investigators are assisting Jackson State University police with a shooting incident. It happened at University Pointe on Valley Street.

A woman is dead after a shooting in Jackson, according to police. Officers say they found the victim near a vehicle at the intersection of Ilano Drive and Archer Avenue, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
JPD is investigating a shooting after a female arrived at a hospital by private vehicle, just after 12pm. Victim suffered a chest wound and her condition is critical. Incident is believed to have occurred in the 500 block of Cedarhurst Rd. No additional details currently known
